I fell over my push mower and dislocated my left shoulder, the one that had not been surgically repaired.

Thought i would just gut it out, after about 30 hours, went to emerg. room, xrays showed no breaks, so i started twisting and kinda pullin a little, it popped back in, still very sore, but on the mend.

Fall felt like slow motion, and had to be hilarious if seen from a distance.

Now for good, My moms house and 9 acres in mtns. will be sold n next 2-3 weeks to some super nice folks from mich, with 13 yr old daughter who loves to deer hunt with dad and eat deer jerky, and ride her 4 wheeler.

My late mamas home will be filled with good folks and love.

And if any of you remember my post in the spring about our two lawn mowers being stolen, well the cub cadet rider has been found.

It was in a theft rings stash house near atlanta with the obvious id no.s removed, but our local police investigator called cub cadet and found where they hid a serial no. plate, got our serial no., matched it, now we have to go get it.

Life is good.

Glad you're not seriously injured, funny how some accidents happen in slo-mo.
Good that the house will be taken care of, a lot of them just rot out.
What luck getting the mower back.

Unfortunate you hurt your self, fortunately it doesn't seem too serious. Very fortunate the home and the mower are taken care of!

Fortunately, life can be good at times, fortunately it is giving you back! Enjoy the good life! :)

Stay safe and glad to hear you found a good family to enjoy the home. Great news on the mower as well.

Except for the hospital bill, it is all good news.

I had a slow motion fall once too. I kept spinning as I was trying to catch my balance. My one arm didn't work very well so I never could compensate. I landed about 20' from where I first triped. Doing about 3 full rotations in the process.:-(

Real slow motion vision was when I saw a head on collision. I knew it was going to happen and I guess my mind went into high speed photography mode. Time slowed down for me to witness that. WEIRD!!
Luckily, only a broken arm came from the head-on crash.

    Was anyone watching that fall?

I spent 3 days in intensive care about 5 years ago from running my truck into a culvert at 40 miles an hour.

I looked up and was just able to see culvert over the hood, knew it was going to be bad, and it seemed to take forever to hit.when it did, instantly 40 to 0 mph.

next thing i know, im waking up in the chopper, with a woman twisting my nipple trying to keep me awake.

Surreal barely covers the feeling until the pain kicked back in and i remembered what happened.

Still only have flashes of what happened, dont know why i drove off the road, was on my way to do a directtv install for my boss who was recovering from hip replacement.

God helps us through these things, I have been through a lot of surgerys, accidents, and broken bones, But I have always had help from family and loved ones, and a higher strength, i truly believe that, i am blessed.

Thank God for no witnesses to my spin-fall. I did feel stupid and lucky I didn't break my elbow when I finally hit my drive way. Very lucky.

Sexual lawsuit on the nipple twisting I would say. Just kidding.:-)

Glad to hear the injury wasn't too serious! I know that if anything is torn or broken in the shoulder, that generally means surgery and whole lot of PT and recovery time. Also glad to hear that your mom's house will be going to a good family.

Thank you sir, it might seem a little strange to care who buys it, but i know she would be happy.
