Not saying they were aliens, etc but it would have been sort of on the tough side to fake the Norway lights, with video from multiple sources from multiple locations.

??? Is that an attempt at a joke or are you serious? In either way, Neil deGrasse Tyson is too awesome at what he does that putting his name with you sentence makes absolutely no sense, not even as a joke.

Sometimes, I do not know what to think. The truth is, comparatively speaking, we are like specs(sp) of dust in this infinite universe. It is hard to believe we are the only ones with life. I do not take the videos to be an ultimate truth by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe I have spent too much time staring at stars and what is beyond, on one too many occasions. Maybe I am just grumpy from one too many flights to the other side of Earth, and it takes 24 hours. Maybe I need to lay off Star Wars type novels..

but star wars is good. I always think of why we would be the only life in the universe too. When I look at the moon for a few minutes I picture it like a 3-D picture, so it's not like I'm just looking at the moon, instead something that is far away and there infinity behind it:)

One day this will be old hat as we party with aliens, legal and illegal. Personally, I think UFOs make more sense, and have a much better chance of being true, than some mythological entity in the sky.

Odds are that there is other life in the universe. Is it visiting earth? I doubt it, and there's certainly no evidence of it.

This. If aliens were intelligent enough to master intergallactic travel, I can't imagine they'd just accidentally show up to eff with us once in a while.

Agreed. I do believe they exist, however, I don't believe that they traveled thousands (or millions) of light years just to come visit earth. That would be like driving 1000 miles to go to a McDonald's.

Maybe they're just checking from time to time to see if we've grown grown fat enough for their needs.

Humans have always looked into the skies and wondered who or what was up/out there. Gods and spirits, then Aliens and Cyborgs, or Artificial Intelligence, and so on.

What do we actually 'know'? Not much. But our curiosity is endless. And eventually, I guess 'we' will be out there!

I believe it would be naive to think we are alone in the universe. Is Earth being visited? Seems to be a lot of evidence. Some ancient cultures have recorded what appears to be evidence, i.e. Egyptians and Mayans.

Current technology + nearly everyone having a phone with camera/video these days is bound to result in photos and videos that will demand evaluation. I hope to live long enough to see results for a number of nagging questions such as the supposed ETs.

There's other life out there. But secret visits from flying saucers?
Nonsense. People are a trip, and this is just one more example.
When they do come, there won't be any doubt about it.

The Egyptians also recorded as evidence dozens or hundreds of various Gods. They must be true too.

The world and Universe are large and complicated. Humans will never understand everything, but we will always make things up to pretend that we do. Aliens have been a go-to for centuries.

Then at that point, don't we become the aliens ? This subject always turns to tin foil hats. It wasn't too long ago, that flying machines were deemed stupid. Horseless buggys ? Can't happen. Cosmic happenings were deemed Gods being mad at a certain tribe of people. All because of a lack of understanding, lack of technology. Are we that stupid to believe we are alone in the vast universe ? That stupid to believe we have the corner of the market on modern technology ? Think about our technology, we haven't really gear up untill the last 100 years, maybe less. You think other planets who may have had life far longer than we, could possibly have technology far greater than ours ? As a species, humans have a very big ego. We think of ourselves as supreme, the top dog, rulers of the planet. What happens one day when we find out that may not be so ? As a species, we are destined to die off as long as we stay focused on one planet to live on. Then what ? Nature starts all over again and in another couple hundred thousand years, bingo, another human race. Maybe alittle different, who knows. Think that process could not have taken place elsewhere in the universe ? Maybe it had right here, we just don't know it yet. Seeing that our planet is supposedly close to 5 billion years old and we have only been here for what, a hundred thousand at the most, give or take. A billion years is a looong time. Anything is possible if you open your mind to it. Only in the last 100 years have we tried to build things we dreamed of. The next hundred should be pretty frickin' exciting.
