Polk RT800i...$400 at half.com
Is this a good deal or not? I'm looking for a good pair of mains to finish off my system, which so far, includes the CSi30, and FXi30 surrounds. The Circuit City near me has the RTi150's for $250 each, but it's open box, and I don't want to take the risk. The RT800's are supposed to be new. The guy also has a pair of RT35i's new also, that I'm thinking about. What would you guys recommend? There's a good chance that I'll upgrade the CSi30 to the 40 when the prices come down. But since I got the 30 for only $100, I might just stick with it. I don't know what to do lol. Also, I was thinking about the RTi100's since they are pretty cheap at CC, but I've got the feeling that many of you don't like the 100. Could you please tell me why?

All I can tell you is I just got a pair of RT_800i's.They are hard to find as not many want to give them up.Before they where discontinued they went for 495.00 a piece.I am very happy with the pair I have.I was lucky enough to get one at CC for 39.00 open box.And another at a different CC for 142.00 new in the box.I do not think you will find any down falls to these speakers as they totally rock.Hope this helps.

however for that price, get the rti70's that actually match the rest of your speakers. The rt800's match the older line and although they will work, they have a different tweeter and may sound different on your front stage..MY HT RIG:
