Big Hartley's sound even better now

I did it again the other day.
When I hooked up the Hartleys I put Positive to Negative on one of the speakers. I had bass at the front door of my man cave but when I walked to the center of the speakers at the magic triangle point, the bass was weaker by a noticeable amount. I thought it was room boundary effect. But this afternoon I went out to position the Hartleys with toe-in or face flushing to see if those switches would help. They didn't.
I had done this awhile back to a set of RT55's and that was to hook POS. to NEG. and the bass suffered alot. So I doubted I had done it again because I had used reading glasses but the bifocal kind which I don't like. The first speaker I checked...DUH...
I goofed again.... and on Sun., I was thorough about wire designation ... I thought. I'm going to have to start double checking myself or triple checking.LOL
Well these things are producing awsome bass like their little brothers that I sold a few months ago had also. The imaging seems to have increased to magical proportions too, just like their little brothers had. But these of course sound bigger and a little brighter.
These are keepers to go along with my other keepers.

Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

I had one of my two 604Es' woofers wired out of phase for their first few months in the house - it was diagnosed by a golden ear type (I thought room modes were my problem with lumpy LF). I was chagrined, but hoo-boy what a difference.

The difference is amazing once the bass comes into the sweet spot like it should. Lower midrange comes into phase also and helps out that sound stage for sure.
Now if the speakers sound preety good with one out of phase, that says alot for the speakers. These sounded pretty good with the bass turned up when they were out of phase. I only listened for a minute after I corrected my blunder but thee bass seemed powerful in the sweet spot. I'm going out in a minute to listen some more if this storm around me isn't to bad on Wunderground radar. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
These do sound amazing but the sibalence IS inheirant in these after further listening. Kind of like Polk SL-2000 tweeters x3. I might do an experiment later on by swapping out tweeters with another that will fit with little to no modifications. The sound is clear but the SSSSSSS get to me with certain vocalists. Still, they are AMAZING sounding. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
