I can't find my spool of speaker wire. It's not a mini spool. I think I've looked everywhere but I guess not cause I haven't found it yet. I did find something else I had but forgot but I want that wire.

Yur rite!! I plum forgot about them copper thieves. they're really bad in this neck of the woods.
I've heard of them stealing from sub stations and going under old ladies houses to steal the copper water pipes, while she's in the house.

Now I know to buy some black market wire, very rare.

I too lost a spool or two for a while. But as most here has seen, in my building, alot can be hidden from view for a while. I eventually found them.

I went on a vacation for my wife and I hid a "Nixon DON" watch from burglers should any had broken in. I still haven't found it yet.


I think speaker wire did go up in price the last couple of years.:frown:

yep here too so much so that contractors are now putting in pex tubing instead of copper. Last night on our local news they were showing that several towns folks have had their central AC stolen right off the pad.:mad:

Damn copper theives stripped all the copper off my new AC unit the day before i moved into my house.

They're (theives) after aluminum & steel too, a junk car is worth approx. $300.00 where I am in central MD and scrap steel is $0.10/lb.
