A whole city in model form

I cannot imagine the time,effort, and patience required to do something like this. The guy squatting down in one of the pics is actually cleaning the whole city. I cannot imagine cleaning all those little spaces out. I'll let you all guess the city.

    That's definitely a Chinese city! There are a number of cities there with such displays, I've seen them.

    Shanghai is a good bet, but I'm not 100 percent on that?

    OK, it is Shanghai...there are some characters in one of the photos!

    Remember the World Expo was held there last year.

    It's Shanghai alright. I visited in 2006 and went up the Pearl Tower. One thing for sure though, the water in the Yangtze is NOT blue over there....more like very dark green to black.
