    I can't believe my Titans beat the Ravens. I just knew that was gonna be a bloodletting. After last week I'd written them off already but hopefully I was wrong. Looks like they've got something after all. Baltimore is a very good team so a win over them is no small thing.

    The Buffalo game was a lot of fun to watch. The final score looked more like a basketball game than a football game. But that made it fun. I was a Bills fan back in the early 90's after I got tired of having today cheer for crappy Atlanta and watching them lose every year so it is nice to see them doing well again.

    This was a weird week for picks. I actually thought half the people would get 2-3 right and the other half would get 12-14 right. I did better than I thought though.

    Basically, all the teams that shouldve won, did so I kinda think the spread will be a little more normal this week. Be interesting to see.

    However, I have to laugh my **** off at Philly. Putting all your stock in Michael Vick who is basically made of glass. This dude is injured constantly and I dont think he's played an entire season yet! But the punchline is they get the worthless Vince Young from my Titans and the reason thats hysterical is that he's probably the only quarterback that gets hurt MORE than Vick. He was hurt 2 and 3 times a year, every year he was with the Titans. Then he goes to Philly and gets hurt in the pre-season!!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

    I have a lot of respect for Andy Reid but this was a boneheaded decision. Bet he wishes he had Kevin Kolb back.

    I don't think so. There's no way they can pay both Mike Vick and Kevin Kolb. Didn't Kevin Kolb get knocked out during his first game last year? Neither did he play a whole season. And by the way, it's football, quarterbacks will be hit no matter what, sometimes a knockout. It's just game 2, there's no need to risk the whole season by playing your best quarterback. Taking Vick out for the rest of the game is more of a precaution than a major injury.
    Most of the time the fans are the boneheaded ones. Guess what, Kolb is also 1-1 this year, not doing any better.

    No dude, it was a concussion. It was a major injury and its not clear if he'll play next week. Just like last year when he broke a rib and missed some games. Again. Yes quarterbacks get hurt but Vick gets hurt and misses games every season. So does Young.

    That's the problem with running QB's especially when they're small like Vick or made of glass like Young. Guys like Kolb don't get hit nearly as often so they don't get hurt nearly as often. Manning is hurt this year for the first time in nearly a decade. Brady was out with a knee injury once in nearly a decade. Brees hasn't been hurt yet, and so on.

    So yes Vick is a better QB than Kolb, but if Vick is sitting on the bench 2-4 games a year due to injury and Kolb is healthy all year, I'd rather have him. And I just don't get why, as smart as Andy Reid is, he would get rid of a stable Kolb and bring in an unstable and delicate Young to back up an injury prone Vick.

    Well then how do you explain Kolb got hurt also via a concussion during his first game of the first season he was selected as the starter? Kolb hasn't done anything special or proved he wasn't injury-prone. Vick brought the "IT" factor to the Eagles while Kolb was just an average QB up until now. So it's your own opinion about Reid being a bonehead, I don't think most of Eagle fans will agree with you, especially the die-hard fans. You're still living in TN, so you're not much of an Eagle fan :tongue:

    Here's Michael Vick's career stats: http://www.nfl.com/player/michaelvick/2504531/careerstats. Even in 2009, his first season with the Eagles, he wasn't activated until the 3th or 4th game. Sorry but he didn't miss that many games to complain about. I'll be surprised if he will sit out their next game, you know, nobody in the NFL tells the truth about an injury :tongue:

    Never said no other QB has missed games. I'm saying Vick and Young miss a LOT more than others. And my evidence for this is that they were both out several games last year with injuries and they're both out with injuries now and its only the 2nd week!

    This is football and even punters can be injured but putting the fate of your entire team in the hands of the 2 most injury prone players in the league, the 2 players that can't walk to the mailbox without getting hurt is just dumb and Andy Reid is an excellent coach and anything but dumb so that makes it more puzzling to me. I'd expect something like this out of Oakland but not Philly.

    The second week was a bloodbath for me. Had a couple guys over watching the games, drank much, and a couple idiots decided to post on several of my online accounts. Oh well. Looking forward to a new week, a new start, and eyeballing Ricardo..

    Hard to believe the Lions actually have a 6 game winning streak going, 10 if you count the pre-season! Perhaps they are FINALLY moving past the shameful Matt Millen era.

    I knew they were going to be a good team this season. Last season was full of close-call losses. I see them going to the playoffs this year, honestly.

    I don't know about that. They are in the same division as Green Bay and Chicago. Maybe if they were in the NFC West, where you can get in the post season with only 7 wins! I'd be happy with a winning record. That's better than they've done in the last 10 years.

    Interesting week. Spreads are all pretty low except for a couple. 16 to the Chiefs is almost too much to not take but they're just awful. Gotta think the Chargers will rip them a new one. Ya gotta know Rivers is pissed off after losing to the Pats. He's gonna be looking for payback.
