SDA 3.1tl no polyswitch??

Just curious as to why there is no polyswitch??
I just tore down one of the 3.1's as I want to take it to a shop and see about getting some custom cabinets made, if the cost is not that bad I am going to shoot for doing something very different here.. should be fun if all plays out well! Just noticed there is no polyswitch just a jumper..
