I also bought a pair of the 150's, a CSi30, and a pair of FXi30's on clearance. A friend has a pair of RTA11's he is willing to part with for a good price. Anyone have a recommendation on the better speaker 150's or RTA11's. Oh yeah, I haven't purchased a receiver yet. Any recommendations, reasonably priced. I'm still on a budget. I have read the 150's require alot of power and I know the RTA11's are more efficient and are 6 ohm rated.

Are the RTA 11's the "T" or "TL" version? It's not always easy to tell from the s/n plate. Look on the back of the tweeter, the "T" uses the SL2000 and the "TL" uses the SL3000.

I'd still have to go with the RTA's. The "TL's" have a better tweeter, but you can't beat vintage Polk's.

I have a pair of RTA11 TL's and they are so clear and detailed. They are my secondary system, however they will move into my main system very soon. Buy the RTA series when you get a chance.
