    Most companies these days have some sort of mandatory orientation or at least just an information pamphlet. Basically, it's more or less zero tolerance--even a joke can be disciplined. Even looking at someone the wrong way can be considered as "visual harassment", according to the newest information pamphlets I have read.

    When I worked for Digital Equipment, their HR was rigid.
    They didn't want to see anything on your cube wall but a phone list.
