I think this was the last hoorah for us, we send the rains off to our Texas buddies, we weren't supposed to get anything today...10% chance the talkingheads on TV said, thankfully they were dead wrong, several waves of down pours started at 12pm and lasted till about an hour ago. Now we dry out, enjoy the rain Texas!! We sent it with love

We were lucky for this rain in the last 7 days, more than twice what we get here this time of year, no more than we needed, glad to pass it along to those in need

I drove through one of the worst storms today that I've seen in quite a while. So much for the 10% rain chance.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

And knowing how inaccurate weather forecasts are, we may end up with a monsoon. If, however, they predicted 90% chance of rain, then we'd see none.

was pissed. supposed to be no rain so i drove the clean black truck to work. one of the biggest storms, ever. i want kvoa and kgun meteorologists fired.

once dirtied, i decided to "rinse" off some dog piss from junkyard dog in my work neighborhood by driving through some large rushing floodwater streets and managed to pick up a roofing nail in my new tires on my 22's. so i spent some time at discount tire. at least it was a cool 2 hour wait.

but while i was watching the storm out my workplace window i could only think of one thing, those pesky pieces of hail were ushering in the end of my pool's swim season. basically, i had ice cubes floating in the pool. sorta makes it hard to keep the pool warm enough to be inviting.
