No......you can put an ad here, but links to CL, Ebay, etc are not allowed.......unless that's changed.

I'd say that that depends on who you know and whose lists you're on. It's fine with me, BTW.

Actually, I did put an ad in the Clubhouse forum advertising the garage sale, only sold the Pioneer receiver and the SAE was already sold. Still have the rest of the stuff if anyone is interested..Make one heck of a pkg deal on two or more items! Operators ARE standing by!

The Clubhouse is not the For Sale section.

Create a new thread in the Flea Market / For Sale and you might have more response.

I didn't find any such language prohibiting links to cl,ebay, audiogon etc. etc. I guess the rules are written in an imaginary script, somewhere. Matter of fact, I've seen links posted & referred to by many members, many times in the past. Like I said, it all depends........

"Just another in a long list of reasons why you have NO friends here." (slight exageration) You had friended me 1nut......before I spat out your rancid kool aid, I've never felt better since then too!!:biggrin:

If you own those items, list them in the ad in FM and list your prices, I don't see how you'd be breaking the rules by adding a link to the CL ad. CL ad can have more info in it, including pics, etc etc.

You had friended me 1nut......before I spat out your rancid kool aid, I've never felt better since then too!!

Let me set the record straight. You were looking for someone to upgrade your crossovers. You also stated that you didn't want to send them off. I told you that I would do them for you as you were close by, but that it isn't something I normally do for other folks. After not hearing back from you, I enquired to see if you were still interested in having them done. You responded that you sent them off to Ben. How you managed to twist that into thinking that I had befriended you is beyond all comprehension. However, it does lend credence to the fact that your mental condition requires medication, which obviously doesn't work very well.

How about your entreaty that I lend you support when you were being tarred and feathered on " another site" due to "perceived" disruption and abrasiveness ? You wanted me as a friend, you were rebuffed, hence, your recurring bitterness. I have moved on, for the sake of your sanity, please, please forgive me for turning you away. It's all for the best!:biggrin:

Yet another attempt to instigate. I'll save my commentary on you as i am sure you'd be unable to comprehend. You're transparent and annoying. Might be the first and only to graduate to my bozo list.

gdb I wonder why it is that virtually everyone that you have any contact with on this and other forums all seem to have problems with you in short order? Perhaps it is because you like a few others here enjoy stirring up the crap? When you are hated and despised by virtually everyone maybe its time to admit that there is a problem with your social interaction skills and seek some professional help.

    Just a helpful hint

    REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Are you kidding me!?! I don't need you or anyone else to stand up for me, I'm more than capable of handling that.

You really don't get what this place is about. Yeah, I suggested that we talk. However, that does not mean we were going to be friends. That is a matter that may or may not occur AFTER talking.

Trust when I say, the reason I don't like you has absolutely nothing to do with what you think it does. The actual reason I don't like you is because you're completely clueless, bringing nothing to the table. In other words, you are a loser.

You saved a PM/email from how many years ago? Something is seriously wrong with you. You also have the nerve to post part of my phone number on here!?! I hope you're banned for that.

    gdb, is a putz.

To the OP, the rules don't address having a link to CL, but it's been common practice not to do that. Make a separate sale thread in the FM. It keeps things clean, searchable for later, etc. CL ads are only active so long so if your item(s) don't sell and the ad expires you'd have to start an FM thread anyhow.
