Klipsch LaScala's are known for there mids and highs for being the best (crystal clear).

They are so efficient that, some movie theaters still use them behind there screens.

New modern speakers produce more distortion and are painful to listen to for long periods of time.

Almost in mint condition (8.5 out of 10) 1983 LaScala's with the professional AL Crossovers.

Finished in oiled Birch wood with consecutive serial numbers.

I am located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Sell for $1,000Attachment not found.

I upgraded to the "Klipschorns" I will not miss the LaScala's.

I do not have the room for LaScala's and the Klipschorns.

I am using the Klipschorns for my front mains, Cornwall II
for the rear mains and 3 powered subs in my theater room.

These will not last long in this condition.

Holy crap that's such a killer setup!! The dynamics must be unreal. I wish I had the space to accommodate these beasts. Are you using phantom center with the Khorns?

Very nice speakers, but you better make sure your electronics are dead quiet with that type of sensitivity. Wanna trade for my pair of custom Fortes?

I miss my Klipschorns as well. What was I thinking?

Dynamically the Khorns are much cleaner IMHO.

God I wish i were closer to you. That is a great deal on a great speaker.

I forgot to mention that I also have the Klipsch in walls, they are
    the reference series (Gold cones).

One as the Center and two used as 1/2 way (just behind the seating) and the
Cornwalls way back next to my Pool table.

I have a 20' X45' long room (serious man cave).

I have upstairs in my common area a complete Polk system (see my profile).

Ahh, the responses of the great unwashed.

The OP stated "New modern speakers produce more distortion and are painful to listen to for long periods of time." So, I want to know why 30 year old speakers do not do that, and all modern speakers do. If you have a problem with people asking questions based on someone's claim then that is your problem.
