PL's get a bad rap, and they deserved it in the past, an unchristianlike amount of speakers have given their lives to the 'flame linear's'...but that was then, some of my buds are making some smokin' (bad pun 
) nice rigs, the newest is a 1.3KW monster, but follow some of the threads, some have White Oak(ed) in the title. If you can't see the pics because you're not a member, sign up it's worth it for a look. I don't have one yet...but I'm thinking about it pretty hard about a beefed up PL400, one of the guys will even mill your initials on the knobs for a small fee
