Best SW for Monitor 70 2.1 system?
Hi,
I have a HK 3490 on the way to power my Monitor 70's. Also have a PSW10 SW which I think may be overwhelmed by the M70's. Would a bigger, louder SW be a better fit with these tower speakers?
Thanks!

Yeah, the PSW 10 won't do it!
If you're on a budget, check out the PSW505 at newegg.com
If you can afford just a bit more...and you want to stay Polk, you can't do a whole lot better than the DSW Pro 600.
Good Luck!

+1 on the 505.Music doesn't lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music.

Another vote for the PSW 505.

Ive heard a lot of good things about the 505. I need a new sub so bad too haha but im going to save a little more and get an Epik. Ive heard nothing but the best from these things, and for the price theres really nothing better out there.
The Legend $499
Great starter sub from them
Now if you have the money, or can really save up (which im trying haha)
The Empire $799 This is what I want, would totally be mind bending to get this
And even 2?!?! SOOOO much base.
Theres a good video review somewhere of these things, u should try and check it outHome Theater Setup- Receiver - Onkyo TX-RZ1100

- External Amps - Outlaw 2200 Monoblocks for L/R/C
- Center - Polk CSiA6

leaning torwards the PSW505. What is the recommended method to connect to a HK 3490 (which has a sub-out) ?HK 3490, Pair Monitor 70's (series II), PSW505

Just run a subwoofer cable from the sub out on the HK to the back of the 505. Set your speaker size to small on the HK. The 505 sounds great and is a real bargain.
