The rings are in. Now how the hell do I install them?
You guys know me already, I just have to ask these questions because I'm not near as good a handy man as most of you are.
So, I use the template ring to drill new holes, simple enough. What drill bit do I use?
Is this a good time to install Armalex to the speakers? Or will I not need that with the rings?

Just did this. 9/32 drill bit.
I did the Armacell thing at the same time. Easy.
For the hardware you need hex set w/ SAE 3/32 and a 9/64 sizes
I had to cut a couple of the mid rings due to the bracing in the center being a bit out of line on one speaker. Other than that they went in nicely.
Have fun!I got static in my head

You hit it on the head. Use the templates as a guide to drill the new holes.
I clamped mine onto the speaker opening(s) to line up the holes over where the existing screwholes are, drilled out the holes (the drill but should just slightly exceed the size of the hardware that the screws will go into). Once you drill the holes, insert the rings into the cabinet, insert the hardware into the freshly drilled holes, so that the rings lay flat against the inside of the cabinet, place the speaker and screw the provided screws into the rings.
Do the PR last. To get the PR ring in, I had to make a cut with tin snips in the ring, so that you can maneuver it in without bending it. Once you have attached it, the PR screws will tighten it down just fine.
I personally just used the existing gaskets, nothing to seal the speakers. Don't over tighten the screws, you can easily bend the speaker frames with the rings installed.
Hope this helps.2 Channel

You didn't have to snip the ring if you look at the ring I put two slits in it so you can bend it just a little then when it's inside the cabinet you can bend it back with ease..
Good luck!!! -
Shane,
Here's my install with the 5B's. Lots of the procedure is transferable to the 2B's

Ha...I wondered what those were for...duh!!!
It worked the way I did it too. I just added a little adhesive to the ends where I made the cut to make sure there were no vibrations, so it worked quite well.2 Channel
