I read a lot of business publications with somewhat of a forward-l.ooking bent like Entrepreneur, Fast Company, Smart Company, Smart Money, WSJ, IBD, etc.
It seems everwhere you look, the rush to improve batteries for everything from Electric Cars to iPods is evident.
I keep seeing the term Carbon Nanotube Capacitor Batteries (also know as Super-Capacitors) thrown around.
I guess this new breed of battery can store and discharge energy quickly like a capacitor, or turning it around, this new breed of capacitor can store battery-like quantities of energy.
My investment portfolio has been shredded over the past several years so I'm always looking for ground-floor investment opportunities and this stuff interests me.
I don't know exactly what to look for, but thought I would start the discussion rolling because I'm sure someone or many here at CP will have a better understanding than I.
At some point in time I'm sure this new technology will end up in signal paths, and I'm wondering what to watch for as an investment opportunity.
