A pair of SW 120 passives from 1985 Asking $20 each or $35 for the pair.

Pair of early RTA 12B top hats. In nice shape with one tiny hole on top of one of them Asking $20 each HARD TO FIND

Are the top hats the later ones designed to be used with the trees, or the earlier ones used with the metal pins?

    Thanks,

    Fred

They can be used with either as I have had both and used them on both. The holes are the same. These came from a set with the metal pins. I may have a later one also

I bought a set 6 mos ago thinking the same thing and they didn't fit. My 12C's have the trees and the cutouts on the particle wood base of the hats for these are a little different than for the ones with the metal pins.

The set I bought were designed for the pins. I had to remove alot of the particle board base to get them to slip over the tweeter/crossover. They sorta-kinda go on there, but not all that well  So I'm looking to acquire the correct hats.

Any chance you could flip them over for a pic?

    Thanks

Geppy1, Is there any chance that you may still have the top hats for the Polk Rta 12's? I recently bought a pair of these and the hats were damged in the shipping by Fed Ex. I also need a tweeter (sl100). Any help here would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Coley
