I got it from facebook:
Due to "lack of room", NYC Police Officers, Port Authority Police Officers and FDNY Firefighters are not "invited" to the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at Ground Zero. Funny -they weren't invited on that day in 2001 either -they just "showed up" and became our heroes. Please re-post if you think they belong MORE than the politicians who are invited.:eek:

    I'm sure there will be thousands of police and port authority agents there.

    They might have meant not every single officer will be allowed. Have you seen a funeral for a police officer/fire fighter in your home town. New york is not big enough,Really, for all police officers/fire fighters that would like to attend to fit within sight of the event. Not even a stadium could accomodate all who would like to attend.

    I'm sure hundreds of key personel WILL be there up close to represent their proffessions.:wink:
    Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    As long as the familys of lost loved ones get to be there IMO thats all that matters for this one. For them to go and see the names of their loved ones in bronze around the foot print of where those buildings stood words can not describe how they will feel let alone how the air around them will feel, the emotions will be felt for miles..
