Siemens 12AT7 matched pair

A very closely matched pair of Siemens 12at7 tubes. Bought nos from Brent jessee in Feb. 2011 broke them in and may have 90 to 100 hours at most. Was so impressed with them i upgrades to telefunken brand from Brent in march,so less than a month of use. Made in 1961, tested by Brent on 2/2/11 and the GM1 IS 4500/ GM2 IS 4500 On one tube the other is GM1 Is 4500/ GM2 is 4600. Both came in his white boxes with the test reports. Absolutly fantastic sound, the telefunken are so close as to not be a real better deal considering the price diff. (Double). Selling for 50.00 shipped which is 30.00 less than I ppaid for them. Have papperwork and recepts for them from Brent . These were a huge improvement over the nos rca I was using, and I mean a huge improvment!!!!!!

Nice tubes! I would try them out in a heartbeat if you had a quad.

Brent jessee (where I got them) might be able to match them. Don't know if he has any more . They are incredible in my dared preamp. If i didn't have the telefunken I would never sell them. It made such a diff in my system. They brought out the best in my amp and my rta 12's. Truth be known if someone wanted my telefunken I would gladly keep the Siemens but the they are a better value at less than half the price.

I know how that works. I have a $500 matched quad of Telefunken ECC801S's that I've never been able to best where I would audition the Siemens tubes. I've had about a dozen different quads in there, but never Siemens and I've alway s been curious.

I find the Siemens vertually indesernable from the funkens . If I had listened to both at the same time I would have not got the telefunkens due to the price diff. Don't take me wrong the funkens are fantastic, great detail, punchey bass, great sound stage but so are the Siemens. The diff just dosent justify the price in these two pairs at least.
