faster, i like that look when you stack the speakers, i just bought a pair of rti70s to replace my rt600s, was thinking to stack my rt15s on my rti70s and use my 600s as surrounds, i have a h/k 225 and looking to biamp, i also have an older kenwood d/d( 6 years old) would i benefit to biamp and stack my rt15s, also just upgraded to dvd audio, f$@*ing amazing sound, need more titles!

Hey dave i just bought a pair of RTi70's NIB just yesterday at Circuit City here in Michigan for 299.99 a piece. It wasnt the greatest deal on these but atleast i got the last new set that i know of in Michigan and i didnt pay 399.99 for each.

The wife is in bed so i cant get the receipt but i can give ya the address to the store if that helps any..

    Circuit City

    750 West 14 Mile Road
    Troy, MI 48083
    Phone: 248-616-1112

They are very nice speakers and i'm just happy to own them.. I picked up a pair of brand new RTi100's for $239.99 each before these and after reading this forum the 70's are the way to go!

I'm returning the 100s as soon as i can.. Some lucky person is gona have a nice mint condition pair of 100's open box soon.. I do like the sound of them as well..

i'd advise to print out this thread and highlight my post so the store manager can see it.. Thats what i did when i bought all my Polks recently.

    Faster,

I may be very interested in your cherry rti70's. Is it 450 with shipping or 450 plus shipping.

Let me know, I may just take them of your paws.

Faster, do you still feel that the 150s blend with the SVS better than the 70s when high passed, even on mids? If you do, then why is selling the 70s even a question to begin with?

Why would i keep them? the 70's.. I have invested in the Rti70's 799.00 + tax.. i have invested in the 150's 526.00 .. although originally i wanted to unload the 70's to help pay for the 150's.. i came up with the money and got em anyway. For what i can get now for the 70's about half price.. I may keep them for a 2 channel rig/ or on principal alone.. They look like new and i am having a time deciding what i wanna do.. That is why i said i would let him know asap... after i think, and talk with my wife and think some more...

Yes, the 150's are still being dug, I will get my amp tomorrow according to UPS, and see what they sound like when i get it..

Will agree on one thing. The 70 has a bright hiss that I cleared up when stacked (atleast I think I did) that dosn't suits everyones ear. ESPECIALLY when ran on small.

Faster, be sure to report back what you find with the new amp hooked up, although I already know what you are going to say though. The 150s sound will only just keep on getting better with more power.

If you are going to do a 2 channel only rig, why not keep the 70 in the movies system with the Integra and SVS and use the 150s plus the new amp for the dedicated 2 channel set up?
