Greetings from Norway.

Finally...after 4 years of Polk Audio-dreaming, i finally had the money to order myself some real speakers.

For 1 hour ago, I ordered a set of RTi9A, and i even got a 20% off
They will arrive my house on friday...and i will celebrate with friends....beer and dvd-concerts( must remember to warn my neighbour )

Yes,you should really like those RTiA9's. Many people say they sound their best the more power you give them, and they can handle a lot. The lowest price I saw them for in Canada was $799 Pair but that was "Boxing Day". They do go on sale from time to time but never that low. Future Shop lists them for $999 Each, although they had a sale not long ago on all Polk Tower Speakers.....Buy 1 and get 1 Free.

Welcome Ronny from one of your US brethren (or at least I am told I am 3rd generation Norwegian lol). You will enjoy the A9's for sure.

Crank up some good music, invite the neighbors over and enjoy!

    Thank you all

Actually I`ve been a member on this forum for years, just haven`t used it, and forgotten my login-deails.

Anyways....1/3 Norwegian is still a Norwegian  and I live in a place called "Voss" or "Vossevangen".
Here are some links from where i live:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-W06yAufpNQ
Its in the south-vest part of Norway, but originally i come from "Borg", in the "Lofoten Islands" up in the northern part of Norway.
(This is the only place where a Viking-Chieftains farm is found. Excavations shows that it was established around 500 AD)

That was all commercial from Norway
Hope you like the videos.(Feel free to comment)

And for the record: My neighbours dont like music it seems...they dont have ANY record-player, cd-player, radio or speakers...or anything...just a small tv
So when im playing in weekends, they usually go away fishing or something...thats why I have to warn them hehe:cool:

Man, thats nice neighbors. Here in the states they tend to complain and then you are forced to turn it down.

Yes...everything is expencive here, but the jobs are payed well also.
    B&W are cheaper I think....

    Example 1: 6 pack Carlsberg beer(6x0,5cl) cost around 150,- Nok = 27.50 us dollar.
Example 2: Cars: A Dodge Challenger 2011 cost about 1.3 million Nok = 236.363.60 us dollar
Example 3: A new HArley cost around 300.000 Nok = 54545.45 us dollar.
Yes...our goverment have INSANE taxes on cars, beer motorcycles...all that is fun actually..especially us cars

Yeah...we are all millionaires over here...we swim in oil LoL(sarcasm )
These are the worst example i can give you....

Congrats on the purchase Ronny and welcome to Polk.
Norway is on the list of countries to visit in my lifetime as I want to see the Trollveggen.

Although I do remember Helga from my University days.
