I bought this CD based on a good review in stereophile. Before that I had never heard of her. Of course, that only shows my musical ignorance. 
Anyway, I like this CD, and each time I play it I like it a little more. I'm not sure how to classify her music, but if you like female singers in a 'pop/rock' context then you should give this a try.
