6511s, 6503s

Hello Polkies,

I have a pair of 1.2s I inherited that I finally have a few bucks to sink into. I've been wanting to get these back to like new condition for quite a while.

If anyone has some spare 6511s or 6503s for sale, I would really appreciate you letting me know.

    I don't know about 6503s but I just contacted Polk and they definitely still have the MW6511s (and RD0198-1s) about which I inquired...the only question is whether you strongly desire an original MW6511 rather than the modern replacement.
    Current polk speakers:
    Family room 5.1: TC265i R/L, VM10 Center, RC65i surrounds (couldn't match the TCs)
    Basement non-dedicated 7.1 HT: SDA-CRS+ R/L, 255c-LS Center, LSiFX surrounds, RC80i in-ceiling rear surround, plus Wharfedale 12" sub (some day I'll get around to building 15" F-20 sub).

    Thanks for pointing that out. Let me revise my post.

    I am very much in need of 2 original MW6511's. If any of you guys are sitting on some, I would sure be willing to pay a fair price.
