Celestion DL-6 Series II
I bought a pair new in the late 80's and fell in love with that detailed British 2-way sound, awesome soundstage :cool:, wimpy lower bass tho :frown:.
Several years ago I popped one of the woofers and not knowing at that time it could be redone, I threw it away in a drunken stupor :mad:. I'd been looking for a single for awhile. And it turns out a buddy up in BC Canada has one he bought for grins since it sat all alone in the local thrift store. His isn't the Series II tho, so the tweeter isn't the same. He's a RtR fan so I'm trading a nice metal reel TDK GX for it. Should be here in a couple weeks. They'll be used in the computer system rig, so the different tweeters shouldn't be too much of an issue. I'll test them in the main rig first, I just love these little guys, they were very impressive back in the day. The 'puter room setup is a SAE preamp and a Kenwood amp. Some pics...

I have a pair of DL-4's I bought at GW for $4. Not much in the bass department but they have a really nice tweeter.--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out.
