I watched Beyond the Lighted Stage over the past two nights (DVD version) and it is incredibly well done. It gives great insight into the development of Rush, through their formation, twists, tough times and success and even delves into their individual personalities. I was also very impressed with the sound quality of the DVD version.

This disk is an essential for any Rush fan's collection.

Got to watch this over the holiday on Blu Ray. For those who have not watched it...get it and watch it! Very VERY well done!

I know Neil Peart always seemed to get the most attention in the past, but this movie is very well balanced between all three, never overshadowing any of them. Personally, Alex Lifeson is one of my favorite guitarists and is seriously underrated!
    No excuses!

The new concert in Cleveland is excellent as well. Rush is very fond of Cleveland as noted in the documentary. Eventhough they are not in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Which makes no sense at all. What do you have to do? Die at age 23?

Janice Joplin is in. Seriously? One or two hits that she didn't even write.

It's obvious the RnR HOF is deliberately snubbing them. That and the fact they made some comments about how essentially, the RnR HOF is a joke. I love the comments about ABBA and Donna Summer....

PROUD to be a fellow rock-nerd!

As far as RUSH being in the Hall-of-Shame, OH HELL NO, I don't want them in there with ABBA, what the hell ABBA??
