I have a nice pair of 2.3TL's that have Sonic modded crossovers,Dynamat,JB Weld and 6 new RDO-198's.I have flat feet or spikes for them as well.Also includes Van Den Hul jumper cables
Very very nice shape.They do not have the Polk Audio badges on the front grills.Previous owner must have removed them.
There are 2 little holes where these badges were mounted along with a tiny hole in the middle of the left front grill.
This will create a problem if you listen to them with your lights up and your face less than a foot from the grill.
I have run these with a Sunfire Signature and Carver/Russ Kall modded M1.0t and they really sing.They have a good 300 hours on them and truly sound incredible.
You will be hard pressed to find a pair in this shape with mods done.
The only thing i can recommend is getting Larry's rings and new binding posts someday to complete the package.I only have one set of rings and they are going into another minty set i found that are under mod construction. Hence the sale.
I may be able to help with delivery as well within reason.

    Oh you would, wouldn't you!!!! Do these have Gimpod boards or are they factory boards? You are only 8 hours away.... Hmm... I think I am seriously interested. :D Decisions, decisions.... Are the crossovers all sonicaps and mills?

    I will have to check.That ship may have sailed.I have an "expert" doing some "special" upgraeds using a gimpod board but i don't know if the old one has been cannablized.And yes the 6.5's are JB welded.

    Argh. Been looking for slightly smaller SDAs or a fire sale but these are a fair price and of course ~local. However, no way I can sneak these into the current basement budget, and there are so many other things I should spend $1400 on first. GLWTS--maybe in another year I'll be in the market for these...
    Current polk speakers:
    Family room 5.1: TC265i R/L, VM10 Center, RC65i surrounds (couldn't match the TCs)
    Basement non-dedicated 7.1 HT: SDA-CRS+ R/L, 255c-LS Center, LSiFX surrounds, RC80i in-ceiling rear surround, plus Wharfedale 12" sub (some day I'll get around to building 15" F-20 sub).
