power my lsi15s and center

need info on rotel 1552 & 1582 to power lsi15 fronts and center for ht setup. looking for 240w/channel for fronts and 200w for center. any recommendations?

    been there done that. but that info didnt specify 4ohm capability. really want to know what will an amp do for a ht setup. does it make the system louder or increase speaker performance?

    After quick jaunt over to Rotel's site, I looked at the specs, and neither of them lists specs for 4 ohms, which %99 of the time means they won't push 4 ohm loads...

    Are you willing to look at used amps? What is your budget?

    When I Googled that phrase, the first link was to the manual of said amplifiers on the Rotel website.

    The manual said that both are 4 ohm capable.

    An external power amp may allow you to play your speakers louder depending on the receiver you have. Some amplifier manufacturers list the power into
    8,4 and 2 ohms. Most really good amps will produce more power as the ohms decrease. A speaker rated at 4ohms may actually dip to 2ohms depending on the frequency response being played.

    don73 thanks for the info. i guess what im really hoping for is that an amp will add warmth and spaciousness to the speaker setup. is this what a good quality amp does? keep in mind i am new to this world of high end audio so forgive me if my ?s appear to be open ended.
