OK, first let me say the Tony (gimpod) is a STAND UP GUY!!! Secondly, lets keep this thread clean
After my crossover fiasco, Tony stepped up and offered to build me a set of crossovers on his boards. He sourced the small inductors for me (He is letting me borrow some of his until I can find replacements), got the sonicaps and resistors during the 20% off sale, and put everything together for me. He did all of this and refused to take a single dime up front! He said "Lets build them, you get them installed, make sure you are happy, then send me the money!"
I was simply blown away at his generosity! I wanted everyone here to know what an excellent resource we have in Tony. He is a great credit to Club Polk. I am sure many already know this, but I wanted to share my experience. I was so pleased with everything, I had him send me another set of gimpod boards for my CRS+ for when I TL those... I got the crossovers on Monday and I was going to push myself to install them so I could make sure everything was OK (I am recovering from a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, so I am pretty wasted). Again, Tony stepped up and told me not to rush installing them and not to send any money until I know I am happy, again, delaying his payment.
Well, when I woke up this morning, I had a little pep in my step and installed the crossovers. They definitely need time to burn in the Sonicaps , but everything worked perfectly. I am excited to see what my SRS 2s turn into in the next couple hundred hours of listening.
All this to say over and over and over how happy I am that people like Tony exist. Did I mention he did all of this only for cost of parts!?!?!? No labor!
Thank you again gimpod! If there is any way in the future I can repay you, just let me know!
Don
P.S. - After I got the crossovers installed, I went ahead and sent over the money! If I would have emailed him before I did it he probably would have found another way to make me wait to send it to him

No doubt, Tony is a class act and we are lucky to have him here at Club Polk.Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."
President of Club Polk -
As Jesse already said Tony is a stand up guy and we are very lucky to have him and his contributions..

After a lot of the negativity that has been around here lately, I was hoping to have something people could rally around and something positive for a change!
I know many already know what a great guy Tony is, but a little wind up his skirt won't hurt anything!
With all the negtaive stuff going on in the world, in our lives, and even here on Club Polk, it is so easy to think decent people just don't exist anymore. Thank you Tony, and several others here on this forum, and other local people in my life the last couple weeks, for proving me WRONG!!!
I love you guys!!!
