Love this album, one of their best. But, what's so special about this for $30?
    If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

I bought it when it came out and then again for a digital download a while back.
To me it's the difference between listening to it on a boombox or a hifi.
    YMMV

Ordered mine last night from elusive disc.
I think you're right Kieko, from what I've seen, the MFSL catalog holds it's value extremly well.
Almost worth buying 2 copies & leaving one of them untouched.

I had that same thought the moment I was opening the single copy I ordered. Low numbers should also be worth even a bit more unopened.

I got mine this morning. It's number 00203...not sure how I ended up with a low number, but should I not open it?

Does a low number matter to a real collector?

Man, those are some low numbers. I got mine the other day from Elusive, #1949.
    It sounds very good though!
How many do they produce, is there a set number?
1949 out of 2000 isn't what I'd call low, but out of 10,000, not too bad.

This is 2011...I wouldn't worry about the low numbers unless there is a stated production problem. It's what row the teenager with headphones on, in the warehouse happened to grab and I'm sure not a reflection on actual sales. 1-100...I would be excited about but after that....

I ordered my usual personal, archival and resell storage copies and the numbers were all low but I don't care.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

My stepdad did the same thing and his numbers were all over the place. I just don't worry about it unless its <100.
