Yes, but you can't just use a simple "y" cable. HDMI splitters are splitter/amplifiers, such as this one.2.1: PC>Schiit Gungnir MB>Schiit Freya Noval>NAD C-270>Ascend Acoustics Sierra-1, HSU STF-2 5.1: HDMI Bitstream>Denon AVR-1910>polkaudio RTE55, CS350-LS, RT3, HSU STF-2, Visio M55-F0

You can split the cable into 6 if you have a power'd split'r

Thanks Tbone, just what I'm looking for. Not even sure why they would build just a splitter if they don't work, but need something like above.

I have a 4 in 2 out that I am not using anymore. If interested I will sell reasonably, or trade for something interesting.

Certainly. The link to a new one that I think is just like it is - http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10110&cs_id=1011002&p_id=7112&seq=1&format=1#largeimage -
Ok here's what I like to do, run an XBox 360 as a media extender to a LCD tv via HDMI. Split the HDMI from XBox 360 to run LCD and feed a HDMI to RCA, to feed a modulator to feed 2 other tv's in the house on a local inside channel feed. So not looking for anything to switch in or out, but just to split A and B outputs.

Just a FYI, I use the Monoprice splitter to run to out from my receiver to my Panasonic plasma and my projector. I've never had a problem with it, works perfectly. Here is the splitter I used:

I have heard good things about that little unit. I know it sucks we can't just SPLIT the signal anymore, but HDCP and all that makes it impossible. That and the digital signal is VERY touchy! That being said, that unit does not "Officially" support HDCP... Most people say it works fine, but there are a couple people who have had issues.

Don
Yeah, I had a problem with my HTPC and HDCP, but I just run Anydvd to bypass and it works fine.
