My HT thoughts

I would like to hear some thoughts for my HT idea. Yamaha Rx-A2000 with Polk LSi 9s on the front LSi center and Rti a1s in the rear. Yamaha rep has said if I set impedance to 6 ohms I could run this set up with this amp. Any opinions? Thanks

You could, but I wouldn't. However, you could run it that way for a while - just watch that volume setting... not too loud - and add some external amplification later.

Or, save some coin by going with the RX-A1000, and put the savings into an amp now.
