Ok.. I've hit a dead end.. Perhaps some of you more Apple savvy people have an idea..

I can't get this 'effin Imac to bind to our 2003 AD to save my life. I've read everything I could find and tried everything suggested even a 3rd party app and it still won't go.

I haven't had to support a Mac since the days of OS 8 & 9. Now we have one since a new employee flat out refuses to use a PC even though we supplied a brand new Dell Precision workstation and the $2,500 Adobe Creative suite. So now I have a $3,100 Imac sitting here for said person. Well.. second Imac since the first one was defective.

Have seen a number of postings saying it's a possible bug with 10.7.1.

??!!??

Danke!

I have several 10.6 machines authenticating to AD with no issue. Are you getting an error?

I'm getting authentication errors, and "unknown" errors.

Seems the upgrade from 10.6 to 10.7 killed the ability to connect to AD. A lot of people who were doing fine on 10.6 lost all their connectivity with AD when they upgraded to 10.7 and haven't been able to get it back.

Assimilated: I'm trying to get an iMac to connect to a Microsoft Active Directory domain, and it's not playing nice.
