Black Cat Veloce

I read enough good things about the Black Cat Veloce 75 ohm digital cable to buy one. Its been in use for a week or so. Diy shigaclone transport though the Veloce to the Buffalo 24 dac. Included rca adapters make it easy to use the bnc cable. The Veloce is a much nicer digital rca cable than the DH Labs Silver Sonic I used before. The topend is very detailed but not glassy or hard. Apparent space of the recordings more easily heard. The mid bass imaging on the SDAs is more noticable. Its like there were a set of harmonics that were missing before. Now I hear them and the recording is more fleshed out and real. I'll report back in a couple of weeks and see if things are still thumbs up. After getting Jake's Forte f44 preamp and switching to balanced cables I needed to mellow out the topend. This one single cable makes all this sound sweet. One single cable. LCD Soundsystem is very good stuff.

    I've been using the same cable in my system for about 8 months now feeding into my CA DacMagic from my Sonos & find it to be exceptional. Ditto on all accounts as you are experiencing. This is one damn nice digital cable that has proven to me that you don't have to spend mega $$$$ to get superior quality.

    bump.. I am looking at getting one of these. From the pic on their website it looks like the cable uses a rca adaptor, do those come with it? Do you need to request them?

    It's a bnc adapter.

    Actually, I ordered 2 of these thinking I was going to use them. After about 2 weeks of burn in, I still prefered my GA-0 coax digital cable. Not a huge difference between them,but slightly noticeable to these ears. Maybe some additional burn in time will bring them even or better.
