I need to order some more interconnects and am trying to get ahold of Ben.
Could someone either send me his phone number or have him write to
Buell1200x5@yahoo.com

Thanks
Steve Ford

Ben is having some problems right now. Something about being in another state with problems and no internet access. I'd try again shortly.

I'm sure he'll be in touch offline and not here, just give him a couple days Steve.

Keep in mind, from recent events, buyer beware and if you need some cables made, they're about 5-6 other people willing to do such work. Hell, if you supply the products, I'll do the work for free just to ensure you actually get what you want and paid for.

Please don't as I have enough member work to do for other members....or as Ben would say, hundreds and hundreds of xover work and special projects completed for Polk members. Which just FYI folks, is complete and utter BS.

Amen to that! I've held my breath long enough about Ben...issues or not...his communication and workmanship are less then desirable and that's putting it mildly.

I've seen some very nice work that he's done for other members and some equally bad work for others. I've fixed two projects of his already but don't expect anymore since he didn't really do as much as advertised. He's got talent and knows how to do some work that I wouldn't tackle but who knows if that's even true anymore.

All of this could have been avoided by simply talking to the ppl involved....communication just completely broke down and everything was willful negligence. It's such a stupid reason to ruin everything he created for himself and the relationships he flushed down the toilet for nothing.

Forunately for CP, there's other DIY guys here. Good luck Steve.

    Thank you, gentlemen.
It seems as if I may have caught someone at an inopportune time in their life. We've all had them .
I may take you up on the cable making - I like Ben's cables just fine but I'm not sure what he was using.

Cool, I have 100 pairs of polk cobra cables which I need stripped, tinned and terminated. (1000 coated strands per connection)

I think I'm going to look into building my own cables.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for materials?
I really like the sound of the silver ones that Ben was making.
After having one of the connectors come apart in my hand the other day the construction doesn't look to be too daunting. I did work on motorcycles for decades for I living so I should be able to make a few dozen audio cables without setting myself on fire.
    Thanks in advance.

No. I am cautiously optimistic that they will be shipped back this coming week. His aunt or cousin or whoever said he was coming back on the 5th, so that should give him a day or 2 to put my silver cables together and send me them, my AQ speaker cables, and my crossovers with all the upgrade parts and ship them Out by the end of the week. :)

Very solid choice. I've used neotech for chassis wire for the DAC I built and it is great stuff.
