Pick "ClubPolk"
password is "polkaudio"

Use your Club Polk screen name so we know who you are. (Closed to CP members only)

Rules.

You guys should do this through Yahoo, I'd be much more likely to keep up with it since I (and I assume many others here) already have a team there.... Just a suggestion :)
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Just joined. Who won last year? Ricardo?
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I some what agree but have been doing it through that site since I can remember doing it. That and all years past winners are stored there. Guess you're more than welcome to create a poll???? I dunno. Just wanted to jump on real quick and get it going since no one else started one.

    Yes Ricardo won last year.

    Pauly,
I just joined. I have not played fantasy footbal or this before. So, for each week, are we to pick every game played while taking into account the spread? How does this work. I read the FAQ's but did not see how this works. Thanks for further explanation.

Yeah, you are picking who will win each game, each week. The wrinkle is that you have to count the spread. So if New England is favored by 4 and they only win by 3 points (and you picked New England to win), you would have picked incorrectly because they didn't beat the spread...

    Does that make sense?

The spreads will be posted before game time. You pick which team you think will win with the spread in consideration.

    Example.

Bucs vs Saints. In the colum you will see either the Bucs or the Saints favored with a point value or not. So the spread is Saints favored by 3. This means the Saints must win by four or more points to win the pick.

So if the final of game is Bucs 10 Saints 12. The win goes to the Bucs because the Saints did not cover the 3. There are also picks that will be a "push" which means nobody gets the pick, basically a tie. Example the final of the game is Bucs 13 Saints 16.

That and when you tally all the winning pics at the end the most wins. We also drop 2 of your lowest scores for the season.

    Make sense?

I forgot about last years and skipped it but the year before I had the most picks right but the 2 drop weeks killed me so I came in 2nd. I shall be avenged!

Every year I say i won't forget to do my picks each week, and every year I forgot to do one by week 6. Not this year, every week is already picked, and if I forget a week, I have my random picks to back me up.

Thats very good advice. I lost my **** 4 years ago on this thing by missing picks. Finally gave up by like week 10 since I had 4 weeks of no picks! My attention span sucks.

I don't have the patience or knowledge to go past week 2, so here's hoping I don't forget for 4 weeks like last season.

Okay... with two Monday night games, which one counts towards the tie-breaker?

The one with the later start time is the tie breaker. So Oak vs Den.
