    That was a bit slow though. Hurricane Ike was a lot worse than Irene, electric companies here in Houston worked day & night and even brought in help from other states. My home only lost power for around 24 hours. My office building in the downtown area was up a day later.
    Of course residents got to chip in a few bills later :biggrin:

    I'm just saying - They lost power to nearly 60% of their customers and of those they returned power to 2/3 in the first 48 hours - and the remaining third will take.... 4 or 5 days?
