Classe SA300 amp in Seattle/ Lynnwood

This is not your 'regular' FS post. Please bear with me

I met a new audio buddy this weekend, by the name of Harold, who made me a great deal on a PAIR of 'virgin' Carver TFM-35's. :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: They were imaculate, looked 'just out of the box', and he had all the original boxes, paperwork ect....:biggrin: :biggrin:

While I was there he meantioned he is also selling a Classe SA300.
It is alittle too much out of my financial league right now (okay, way...)but I told him I would mention it to the Forum, so I am. I have not heard it, but I am sure he would be willing to hook it up for you. We hooked up my Carvers to his 'rears, which are RTi100's *alittle bassey for me) but he does have extra gear to demo the amp.

I am not going to be the 'middle man', cuz I don't want to be in the middle, but I will put any interested parties in communication with each other. I am not asking or getting anything out of this other than helping a buddy out.

Shipping would be a bear, as I think the thing weighs around 100# and looks more like a small appliance that an stereo component...haha and IDK if Harold really want to. I think he prefers a local sale.

He has it listed on CL for $1800.

If you're not willing to take the responsibility on the sale, please don't post in the FM.

The rule is very clear and it's here for many very good reasons:


Selling gear "for a friend" doesn't count in this Flea Market. You, or your "friend" need to take direct responsibilty for the transaction. You should encourage them to join and participate prior to FM sales. There have been a couple bad transactions where the seller has washed his hands of it, since it wasn't "his" originally. Sorry Charlie, if the gear is that good, buy it and sell it under your name and assume responsibility.

I actually did read the rule, that is why I am not "selling it for a friend"
And that is why I am just offering to connect any interested parties.

It is a pretty nice piece that I have not seen around very often, @ a pretty decent price, from what I have seen, , and he is a good guy and I can tell from what I saw that he takes good care of his stuff.

Okay...I thought about doing that...while I was sitting in traffic on the way home tonight....btw, I was not trying to circumvent anything, I just wanted to give someone here a chance to get it.

I will post it to the "great deals" tread....
