A quick Speaker setup question.

Hey just a quick question here, I purchased the Polk Monitor60s from newegg recently and am going to hook them up to my Insignia 200w receiver. I only have these 2 speakers, no center speaker, no sub. Here is a link to the receiver: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Insignia%26%23153%3B+-+200W+2.0+Channel+Stereo+Receiver/9693507.p?id=1218151628383&skuId=9693507&st=insignia%20receiver&cp=1&lp=4 I am wondering if I can do bi-amp setup. Using the 4 posts on the speakers and the 4 posts on the receiver I was planning on just individually wiring each post to an input on the receiver and using a/b speaker configuration. Is this enough wattage for the speakers to perform fair and not suffer any damage? If not, what alternate configuration should I consider? I would rather them perform safe than attempt to perform better and undervolt. I do have enough wire for any configuration! Thanks!

For starters, you cannot truly bi-amp from an AVR, so best to just forget about that one. Hook the speakers up normally and replace the plated jumpers with good quality speaker wire.

So what would happen if I hooked the bottom set of posts to the b set for l/r and chose to use both a/b at the same time for sound?

Your speakers would receive sound from the B connection.

Would this supply more power to each speaker though is my question?
