So it looks like I will be parting with my eD A2-300 as I am moving into an apartment and need to save a little space. Well, that and the fact that I don't want to make enemies with my neighbors so it's probably best that I say good bye. Price is $300 firm and will only be doing local pickup as I do not have the original box and this thing weighs about 70lbs. Cash is preferred as it will be a local transaction.

I live in 60126 and work in 60487 so pickup at either location is fine with me.

I bought the sub used on AVS last June locally in the Chicago land area and it's been sitting in the corner of my room since the day I got it. Both the woofer and the amp were upgraded to the newer versions by eD when the original owner had it, so there are no concerns with some of the amp issues that this sub had when it was first released.

There are no cosmetic or functional issues with this sub. It's been in a smoke free pet-free environment. I will post picture's when I get home later, but have listed some info from the manufacturers website below:

Model Name : A2-300 Powered Home Audio Subwoofer

? 12" High Output eD Subwoofer Built on a proven platform with 15+MM one way excursion you get more bass in less space! The subwoofer driver utilized in the A2-300 subwoofer is capable of subtle nuances as well as reproducing a great deal of impact.

? 4 Step Seamless Proprietary eD Finish A proprietary finish (done right in Iowa) coats the A2-300; this finish provides an incredibly strong rugged finish that actually creates a skin on the cabinet. This skin stands up to everything from a friend putting a pop can on your cabinet to your children?s toys.

? Built in 200w Amplifier Your A2-300 comes with a 200 watt amplifier full of features to tune to your needs. From the built in crossover to phase control, we have insured there is plenty of power packed into this subtle looking subwoofer.

? CAD Designed & CNC Cut Right in eD's Iowa factory; our HT equipment is designed with the latest in computer and design technology to yield accuracy (including our CNC) to .001". Giving us consistent response and results in every single cabinet.

? Flush Assembly Techniques The A2-300 is designed to look at home in your living room. This means that the port, amplifier, and speaker don?t stick out to create an out of place look. Everything is designed to create a seamless look and sound; form doesn't always have to follow function, even with your subwoofer.

? No Cost Spared Spikes No plastic or cheap home depot solutions here. Just 1.5" long solid precision machined spikes.

? No Expense Spared Cabinet Design It doesn't stop with precision design and manufacturing; we take it further even by building a 2.25? base to give the A2-300 a incredibly low center of gravity. This is another perfect example of what happens when die-hard enthusiasts get their hands on the development and manufacturing process.

? Patented Precision Tuned Port Just for your A2-300 subwoofer the patented tuned aeroport allows fantastic airflow without port noise.

? Recessed Down Firing Subwoofer The subwoofer driver in the A2-300 cabinet is recessed into the bottom baffle boards 1.5? to allow ample clearances in front of the driver. Match that with 1.5? of clearance from the included spikes and you?ll never have to worry about your subwoofer having any sort of clearance issues.

Interested as to how this would compare to my PSW125.......

I don't know much about the 125 ES, but that sub is a serious contender. I'd be more than proud of you (finally) to buy a Iowa based product, even though your in Indy. This is a serious sub. If I was local, I'd buy it just to see how it stacked up to my Outlaw. At this price, you wouldn't be out much, if anything, with the outside chance you didn't like it.

    GLWTS

Holy crap, just realized that this post was a 666 bump, your sale is cursed, unless ES buys it, otherwise I believe that the forum is doomed to trashed threads, and cable talk. Buy it now ES!

In the interest of widening the range of sale on this, I'd be willing to drive up to anywhere within 45 miles of either zip codes (60126/60487) to drop off/meet up with the buyer.

Well, I looked into shipping costs/possibilities and if someone is interested in having this thing shipped it would be $300+actual shipping cost. There would be no extra fee for materials or anything as I have shipping materials I can use at work.

Just for kicks I looked at what shipping would be to Mobile, AL and it came up just shy of $50 in case anyone was curious.

The package would be 21x23x27 and would weigh about 75lbs

I ended up adding the sub to my father-in-laws setup while I'm living in an apartment. Once we buy a house I will either get it back, or leave it there and use that as leverage in my case for getting an even better sub ;)
