I went vinyl shopping again and picked up The B-52's on mofi 180gm and I can't seem to get enough of this album. I bet I have spun it at least 8 times now.
Great recording I will have to pick up the other one they released by mofi..

July 4th 1980- 2:00a.m.
I was blindsided by a pick up truck that didnt have his lights on. The driver was so drunk that when the cops showed up he got out of his truck and tried to fight them.
Luckily i wasnt too hurt. At that moment myself and some friends were jamming out to Rock Lobster loudly. My car, a Volkswagen Super Beetle was totaled. As a result of the crash my stereo would not turn off or go down in volume. When the cops showed up my car was still playing the B-52's very loudly. Eventually we disconnected the battery to make it stop. It definitely was surreal. Whenever I hear that song it takes me back to that moment in time.I got static in my head

but it wasn't a rock...

That was a wicked sureal story 923! Was the battery still under the back seat?
Folks, try to find a clean copy of 'Party Mix', it doesn't have Rock Lobster on it, but lot's of goodies in a non-stop remix, with some serious bass in the grooves, great for showing off the system to your buds

Nice SME tone arm. I had one exactly like it until I was divorced from it in 1980 !"Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer
