1205 is higher current (45 amps) than the 1206 (30 amps). I think the current 5125 is 35 amps; ~ $1000 used looks like.

Not sure what your price range is though.

Price range is $400. Just trying to get a feel for Parasounds at this point without breaking the bank. If I like what I hear, I plan to sell my current amp, and look into a higher Parasound model.

Either would be fine for your application, regardless of current level. They're built well in regards to both models, have enough capacitance and would be a bonus to the LSi.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Not entirely as I really only need it to power my fronts & center. I am aware that Parasound also made 3-channel amps. Like I said, I'm open to suggestions....whadda ya got in mind?

    No affiliation to above.

I believe you will like the sound and should not be hard to move when you decide to upgrade.

yeah, I saw it. I just thought the hca-1206 would have more power as it can be bridged. I know its not all about watts, but I wanna feed those 15's lots of watts!

I am waiting on a reply on a Parasound multi channel amp that is on consignment. I am hoping to hear soon and then I will be listing my Parasound 1500A here on CP. Mint condition, looks new, sounds perfect and I had it checked out by a Parasound shop here in the area when I bought it about two years ago. It has very low hours on it since the guy I bought it from said he had it in storage for 5 years. Even the tech who checked it out said it looks new. I would never be selling it if I wasn't going to seperates. It makes my Rti12's sing. 60 amps peak /channel..... Would have no problem driving your LSi"s.....

I am not sure it is a good idea to bridge and then run a low ohm speaker such as the LSI. Someone else will have to chime in on that.
