Hi, I am quite new to the forum, joined 2009 but haven't posted much, love Polk speakers, and I am looking to upgrade. I currently have the Polk T90e(monitor 60's) powered by a Pioneer SC-27 avr. I am also running a cs20 center and a PSW 505 sub. I am searching Polk Direct and I'm getting overwhelmed because the prices are great and I can't decide what to do. I know that the TSi500's are timbre-matched to my center so it seems like a no-brainer for me to get those, but I am also interested in the RTi series. If I run a 60/40 ratio of music to HT which speakers would be make more sense? Also, since I have 140w/channel with my current avr will I still need and external amp? Also, since I already have a large subwoofer would be make sense to get the LSi9's instead?? See how confused I am!! Thanks for any help in setting me straight.

Buy the best you can afford. I would suggest the rtia7's if you just want to use the receiver to power them. Any higher up the chain and you may have to add an amp to get the most out of them.
