    man's best friend for a reason. It's about the feeling you get in your gut when you're with them or thinking about them.

    My favorite line was at the end of the movie "Marley and me". Dogs don't care how rich you are or how big your house is. How many friends you have. all they want is your attention and love and they give it right back. My dog just sits there every evening waiting for me to get home and gets all excited. Wish I could have said that about my Ex. :frown:

    That's what dogs, and cats, do. I have always envied them being able to sleep no matter what racket is going on around them.

    Dogs are amazing. We have three: a Jack Russell, a Staffordshire Terrier and a boxer/pit mix. They all have unique personalities, and they have great radar for detecting the moods of the humans in the house. Always glad to see us, always ready with kisses for when we've had a bad day.

    The boxer mix was a rescue dog who had been severely abused when we got her. She had kennel cough and an infected would from where the pound did a hack job spaying her.

    After two rounds of antibiotics we got her going again, and now she and our cat (also a rescue) are best friends. Watching them wrestle and play is more entertaining than TV :tongue:
