I'm wondering because my Dad gave me his when it stopped working. this is what I don't get, I turned it on the other day just to see if it would work and it worked perfectly, in fact, it sounded much better my Onkyo's tuner. It worked for 20 minutes or so then the LED said "FM .0". it does this every time I turn it on now.

What could be wrong with it? something need upgrading?

If I could either get it fixed or fix it myself I would gladly do so... it sounds that good. plus you get 13 presets that you don't have to scroll through:biggrin:

I own an 11a but have never had a problem with it. Try wiggling the antenna connection a bit to see if there is a bad connection inside. Sometimes the wire gets twisted off on the coax connector. Other than that, either pop the top or have it serviced.

I'll try looking at the Antenna connector like you said. Is that coax connector close to the antenna terminal on the back?

Carversite has free service manuals for downloading, after you have that, I suspect just about any competent repair tech could get her goin'. If you want "the best", send it to Rolland. He's already got the service specs BTW.

I think Pop has done plenty of business with Rolland. He sent his Adcom Gfa 1a and my GFP 1a and he fixed them up nice.
