Just wondering if anyone has compared the older PS Audio Power Plant P600 or that line to the newer PS Audio Power Plant Premier.

They go for around the same price on Audiogon and I've been interested for awhile in them. I know DK has the Premier but didn't know if anyone has had a chance to compare the older one vs the new one.

Thanks!

Well see I was planning on getting this for my toaster so ya know...

my huge ego would be shattered if I had to buy something for $1. All that marketing hype ya know. I gotta buy the MOV based as they are such a superior product.

    Overrated.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Doro what do you recommend then for power?

and I've been interested in them. Just didn't know if the one is a large upgrade over the other....if anything it could always be bought, tried, and then sold again if I didn't think it did anything for me.

Chris - Yeah, I'd agree on that. You can always try it at home, which is certainly nice since you can't on some of the other choices. I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for but BPT, Shunyata, Richard Gray, Running Springs is a new kid on the block....its an easy list of equals. I always try and go somewhere other than the pedestrian choices if at all possible.

The surge/spike arrestor portion of PS Audio is definitly top notch and I applaud that particular design. The rest is simply rudimentary and not very special.

I want something that I can use that will help elevate the system to get as much out of it as possible. Also to protect it is a key but clean power is important to me as well. Richard grey is another I've heard great things about so it will just depend on what is on the market when I decide to buy.
    Thanks!
