I use my adcom 3 channel 200w to power fronts and center....my receiver is a denon avr987
I've always ran the speaker wire from the power amp to the mids/woofs binding posts & ran the tweets from the denon receiver
my question is can I run speaker wire from both power sources to each binding post
meaning receiver and power amp each running own wires to the mids
and rec and amp running own wires to tweets
so 2 sets of speaker wire to each binding post
what the hell would that do?.....lol
btw...I am selling the power amp gfa 5503 if anyones interested

and just to make absolutely sure you guys know what I mean because i'm sure I could have worded that better.....
4 pairs of speaker wire into 1 speaker -
Jojo, connecting two amplifiers to the same speaker terminals results in at least distortion and probably results in damaging the output transistors in both units. The power doesn't know that it's supposed to go only in to the speaker, and instead it also runs up the other speaker wire in to the output of the other amplifier, causing distortion and damage.
