For the longest time, I've wanted to see Geezer Butler and Roger Glover have a bass-off. Seeing these two guys go at each other would be fookin RIGHTEOUS!:eek::biggrin:
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

    If you are talking technically better, Vai would absolutely kill Satriani. Vai will kill anybody. However, if you are talking adding "soul" to the music, Satriani would win.

    That cutting heads compitition is amazing. I heard that Steve Vai actually had to record himself messing up near the end multiple times because he couldn't mess up well enough the first few times.:biggrin:

    How about Phil Collins (from 1974/1975, that is actually doing what he should be doing which is drumming) and Bill Bruford. That would be one I'd like to see.
