I would love to see Gretchen Wilson and Kid Rock do a duette cover of Simple Man. I just think they both have the bluesy, raspy voices that that song desrves.
I'm not a huge fan of either artist, but I know a good voice when I hear one.:cool:

Gov't Mule doing Neil Young's "Down By The River".If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

I always thought Carole King's song Smackwater Jack had both the subject matter and that ol' loping beat that would have made it an ideal song for the Grateful Dead to cover. To the best of my knowledge, though, they never did.
I've heard the Wailin Jennys cover Bruce Cockburn to excellent effect; I'd like to hear more.
