Finally set up my Sony turntable...

so Sunday I was finally took the time to get my new to me Sony turntable set up and the only vinyl I had was an album by Styxx that my fiance' owned from way back...really really loved the sound...she actually was blown away...so I guess I'll be looking at Mr Grand's vinyl sales more closely. I know mine isn't a high end deal but it was so much fun getting it up and running and hearing it.

    Nice!! Welcome to the dark side :smile:, you'll be hunting down favs in no time, start making room for them in the listening area. Get some Groovy record cleaner on-line and a nice brush. You'd be surprised how many 50 cent and dollar Lps sound after a good clean up! And some pics please :smile:

    Enjoy. A friend just dumped a Dual 633 in my lap and I screwed up the tone arm transporting it...go figure. But I found a someone to repair that.

    As mhardy asks...is that a new Sony or some older model. Either way, have some fun with it!

    Sony PSLX350H Turntable...got it on eBay for $80. Not sure if that's a good deal or not but I am liking it none the less...I'll post pics after work tonight.

    thanks Keiko....the only vinyl I have at the moment belongs to my fiance'; it is Styx-the grand illusion. She about died when she heard it, even on my modest system. I've been looking at local Goodwill's to try and find more but no luck so far.

    I was gonna say-- is that Sony, by Technics? Sure does share a lot of characteristics. Wicked, enjoy.
